Flachglas Schweiz

Act sustainably. Living responsibility. Shaping the future.

Our path to net zero - for the climate, people and the environment.

For us, sustainability is not a goal, but an attitude. We take responsibility - for the protection of the environment, the climate and the conscious use of energy and resources. From the supply chain to our production processes to our customers, we consistently make our work sustainable. Together with our employees and partners, we focus on economically, ecologically and socially balanced solutions. Our goal: to be CO₂-neutral (net zero) by 2050. Together with the company Neosys, we have defined the path to this goal in accordance with the international standards of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG).

Sustainable production

The outstanding environmental properties of our glass products are already created during production. We rely on resource-conserving processes, clean energy and optimized workflows.

  • Reduce waste volumes
  • Reduce emissions
  • Clear material separation
  • Reduce water consumption
  • Optimize energy consumption
  • Optimization of resource management

Environmental and energy management systems

Environmental, quality and occupational safety management systems in accordance with ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 are implemented at all our production sites. This ensures that we fulfill our responsibility for the environment, energy efficiency and social standards in a measurable and transparent manner.

Recycling and circular economy

We actively promote glass recycling and the circular economy in the construction industry. We significantly reduce CO₂ emissions by returning glass cullet to the basic glass production process. We are also developing new applications and upgrades to keep our products in circulation for longer.
