Pilkington Pyroclear® is a category E fire-resistant glass with a single-pane structure that provides reliable protection against smoke and fire. What makes this toughened safety glass so special is the innovative edge system - because in order to prevent smoke or fire from crossing the room closures, it must be ensured that the installed Pyroclear® panes can withstand 30-60 minutes of fire and smoke resistance, depending on the product, without shattering under the high loads. These requirements can be guaranteed with the innovative edge system and its sheathing.
