Aesthetic fire-resistant glass with optimum functionality without vertical framing

Pilkington Pyrostop® Line and Pilkington Pyrostop® Line Triple are functional fire-resistant glasses with optimum functionality without vertical framing, which impress with their extremely delicate aesthetics and flush surface appearance. In addition to the aesthetic added value, the Pilkington Pyrostop® system also offers fire protection in fire resistance classes EI30 and EI60.

Advantages & features

  • Flush glass design without vertical framing of the individual elements
  • Barely visible, filigree vertical butt joint (Pilkington Pyrostop® Line ≥ 5 mm, with Pilkington Pyrostop® Line Triple additionally with colored 18 mm wide edge strip)
  • The same protection as framed systems with unrestricted, color-neutral transparency
  • Outer panes optionally available as ESG-H
  • Also available in vetroFloat OW (white glass) – maximum light transmission and natural color rendering
  • Suitable for use in timber and metal frame systems

Structure & function

  • Base product: Float glass with intermediate fire protection layers
  • Multi-pane design reduces the passage of heat radiation in the event of fire
  • In the event of a fire, the panes facing the fire break, the fire protection layers foam up and absorb heat – this process continues layer by layer
  • Depending on the number of layers, protection is created over the entire classification periods (30 or 60 minutes)
