ESG is now produced in Wikon

Thanks to the new Glaston ESG furnace, we have expanded our added value in the ESG sector and are now able to produce toughened safety glass (ESG), laminated safety glass (VSG) and insulating glass in jumbo format 3210×6000 mm in-house. This now enables us to supply our customers with toughened safety glass products at short notice.

At the same time, we put a new Systron CNC glass processing machine into operation. This can process float and laminated safety glass panes from 4 to 27 mm up to a size of 2500×5000 mm. Thanks to the latest generation of water jet technology, shapes and holes can be cut with dimensional accuracy. With the help of various abrasives, the requirements for edge quality, whether hemmed, roughened or polished, are guaranteed to be met.
