Gymnasium at the Surbaum school complex in Reinach

Innovative solutions that guarantee both high energy efficiency and optimum thermal insulation were used in the construction of the new gymnasium at the Surbaum school in Reinach. High-quality glazing with solar control insulating glass was chosen for the modern design of the gymnasium. A total of 240 square meters of vetroSol 70/37 P Trio was installed to allow pleasant light to flood the interior and to effectively reduce solar heat gain. The solar control insulating glass not only ensures a comfortable room temperature, but also makes a significant contribution to the building’s energy efficiency by minimizing heating and cooling costs. At the same time, the clear, transparent glazing allows an unobstructed view of the outside and supports the modern design of the new building.

By combining excellent thermal insulation and high light transmission, the solar control insulating glass makes a sustainable contribution to reducing the ecological footprint of the Surbaum school building.
