Glasses for bird protection

Large glass surfaces can be fatal for birds because the glass either reflects the landscape or allows it to shine through, giving the birds the illusion of a clear flight path or an attractive target.

To counteract this problem, we have developed bird-friendly decors in collaboration with the Sempach Ornithological Institute. These decors can be applied to the glass as a chrome coating or digital print. The physical building requirements, such as thermal, solar or sound insulation, are seamlessly integrated into the glass structure.

With these innovative solutions, you can create safe and sustainable glass surfaces to protect people and nature.
